Chinese TiO2 exports rise in October vs last year despite US tariffs

Strong demand in Asia is driving Chinese titanium dioxide exports higher compared with last year.

China’s titanium dioxide exports are headed for another record year despite heavy tariffs on shipments to the US, with October's exports rising from a year ago.

Exports of 79,402 tonnes in October were down slightly month on month but up from 62,974 tonnes in October 2018, Chinese government data showed....
