Latin American crude steel output down 14% in October, Alacero says

Alacero forecasts a global downward trend in steel demand, including in Latin America, which is suffering from lower economic growth.

Latin American crude steel output decreased by 14% year on year in October due to slower global economic growth and blast furnace outages in Brazil, regional steelmakers' association Alacero said on Tuesday December 3.
