Savannah granted mining concession for Mutamba mineral sands project in Mozambique

Mining junior Savannah Resources has been granted a mining licence for its Mutamba mineral sands project in Mozambique, East Africa.

The licence covers 11,948 hectares, and is the first of three contiguous concessions that Savannah is seeking from the Mozambique government for the Mutumba project.

If all three concessions are granted, Mutumba will have an inferred resource of 4.4 billion tonnes of mineral sands ore, containing 3.9% heavy mineral content, including...
