Iodine buyers securing larger volumes on contract for 2020, sellers claim

Iodine consumers are ordering greater volumes on contract for 2020 supply, according to two sellers who both see growth here at 5% compared with 2019 contracts.

Buying increased volumes on term contracts now to avoid paying higher prices toward the end of the year - should spot prices rise further - could give the impression that demand is increasing faster than it is, one seller - a producer - said.
