Fused alumina production suspensions have become a common occurrence in China’s Henan province, due to the region’s deteriorating air quality in winter.

All fused alumina production facilities in Zhengzhou and Luoyang, the two major production hubs for the mineral in Henan province, have been shut following a worsening of air pollution levels.
