South African acidspar prices down a further 20% from last year

Acidspar prices for material from South Africa have continued to fall over the past month, bringing the price down by almost $100 per tonne compared with contract prices in 2019.

Fastmarkets’ price assessment for fluorspar, acidspar, 97% CaF2, wet filtercake, fob Durban, was $350-410 per tonne on Thursday January 30, down from $400-450 per tonne in the previous assessment on December 26.
