Chinese TiO2 exports hit record level

China made a record level of titanium dioxide shipments in 2019, despite being shut out of the United States market, according to the latest statistics.

Chinese customs data showed the total of titanium dioxide exports in 2019 to be 1 million tonnes, the highest level on record.

This compared with exports of 908,004 tonnes in 2018, and just 533,483 tonnes...
