Japanese iodine sellers achieve higher prices, spot range narrows

Iodine vendors in Japan have reported achieving higher prices in the week ended Friday February 14, continuing the slow climb seen since the start of the year.

Fastmarkets’ assessment of the price for iodine 99.5% min, spot, delivered Europe/US, cif Asia, was $35-39 per kg on February 13, narrowing upward from $34-39 per kg the previous week.
