Imerys revenues fall as refractory sector suffers

Mineral company Imerys reported falling revenues and earnings, as industrial conditions in Europe decline.

Imerys reported revenues of €4.35 billion ($4.71 billion) for 2019, an organic decline of 3.8% year on year, on a steep decline in sales volumes amid weak market conditions.
