Nouveau Monde starts demonstration production of spherical graphite

Nouveau Monde Graphite has produced spherical graphite on a demonstration basis from its micronization and spheronization facility in Canada, prior to going into commercial production in mid-2022, it said on Wednesday February 26.

Graphite concentrate needs to go through a process of micronization and spheronization to become anode grade material, which can be used in lithium-ion batteries.
