Lackluster buying pushes down antimony trioxide prices amid coronavirus disruptions

Most antimony trioxide prices in the United States and Europe edged downward in the week to Tuesday March 10 because of weak demand. But some European market participants spoke of continuing disruptions to supply chains created by a lack of available containers for shipping.

 Sources contacted by Fastmarkets attributed the container freight disruptions to the measures taken to contain the outbreak of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus, which included a prolonged lunar new year holiday period in China during February.
