Coronavirus effects put US, European antimony trioxide prices at standstill

Antimony trioxide prices in Europe and the United States have remained mostly steady over the seven days to Tuesday March 17, with the market staying flat and no new business activity reported.

This was because the rapid spread of the outbreak of 2019-nCoV coronavirus across Europe was forcing local governments to implement measures to restrict mobility in a bid to slow the spread of the disease.

This was having a knock-on effect on industrial output in several sectors.
