EU CARMAKER CLOSURES 18/03: BMW, Toyota, Rolls-Royce suspend output

Automotive manufacturers in Europe have announced temporary production shutdowns at sites throughout the continent, because of the problems being created by the measures taken by governments to restrict the spread of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak.

The latest suspensions followed a raft of announcements made at the beginning of this week.

Rolls-Royce

UK-based Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will suspend production from March 23 at its Goodwood manufacturing plant in the English county of West Sussex.
