Antimony trioxide prices in Europe, US shrug off weak demand

Antimony trioxide prices in Europe and the United States held steady in the week ending Tuesday March 24, even as demand weakened amid the intensification of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak, with some suppliers reportedly unwilling to drop their offers.

Fastmarkets assessed the price of the antimony trioxide, min 99.5% Sb2O3, in-warehouse Antwerp/Rotterdam, at €5.20-5.40 ($5.62-5.83) per kg, unchanged from last week but down from €5.35-5.50 per kg on January 7.
