China fluorspar acidspar market lacks upward momentum, prices weak on thin buying

China’s fluorspar acidspar market started to weaken over the week to Thursday March 26 due to increasing spot material supply and thin buying after several weeks of standing firm, leading producers to lower prices slightly.

China’s domestic fluorspar acidspar market declined this week with domestic prices falling slightly due to increasing supply of spot material and thin downstream buying. This led producers to decrease domestic prices by 100-200 yuan ($14-28) per tonne.
