China’s refractory materials output up 3.7% in 2019, MIIT says

The total output of refractory materials in China increased by 3.7% year-on-year to 24.31 million tonnes in 2019. But most refractory raw materials prices were still under downward pressure.

China produced 24.31 million tonnes of refractory materials in 2019, according to data from China’s Ministry of Industry & Information Technology (MIIT). This was up by 3.7% year-on-year from 23.45 million tonnes in 2018.
