INDIA LOCKDOWN: Plants closed, logistics at a standstill

A government-decreed lockdown in India has resulted in closed factories and import and export markets stalled by a lack of workers for the transport and processing of goods.
The Indian government ordered a three-week lockdown on
Wednesday March 26, in the country’s attempt to
restrict the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. This has led to
market participants reporting that their manufacturing units
were closed and their supply chains were inhibited.
