Antimony trioxide prices were unchanged in the week to Tuesday April 14, with market participants speaking of a progressive drop in demand in key consumer regions such as Europe and the United States due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
But China, a key exporter of the material, is slowly
resuming production and exports.
Fastmarkets assessed antimony trioxide 99.5% Sb2O3 min, fob
China, at $5,200-5,300 per tonne on Tuesday April 14, unchanged
for three weeks after dropping to $5,450-5,550 per tonne on
March 24.
