Chinese magnesia export prices rangebound on global drop in demand

China’s magnesia prices were mostly rangebound in the week to Tuesday April 14, with export orders from overseas buyers being scarce because of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The prices asked for exports of China-origin magnesia were
mostly reported at current trading levels this week, although
the market remained under pressure. Demand was diminished both
by the slowdown in business as a result of the Covid-19
infection and by a sufficiency of stock.
