Syrah Resources reports graphite sales revenue down 63% in Q1

Australian graphite producer Syrah Resources showed a significant sales decline in natural graphite in the first quarter of 2020, driven by weak end-markets, but predominantly by supply-chain disruptions in China amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the company said on Wednesday April 22.

Syrah reported quarterly sales revenue of US$3 million, with 7,000 tonnes of flake graphite sold and shipped in the three months ended March 31, 2020.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, the company’s revenue was $8 million, with flake graphite sales of 17,000 tonnes.
