Antimony trioxide prices weaken amid sluggish demand

Prices for antimony trioxide have lost ground week on week because the lower value given to antimony metal feedstock and the sluggish demand resulting from actions taken to combat the Covid-19 pandemic have forced sellers to reduce their offers.

Fastmarkets assessed the price of antimony trioxide, 99.5% Sb2O3 min, fob China, at $4,750-4,800 per tonne on Tuesday April 28, down by 2% week on week and by 9% from April 7.
