Northern Minerals mothballs remote rare earth pilot plant

Rare earth miner Northern Minerals stopped activity at its pilot plant in Australia in March, shortly after it resumed its shipments to China.

Northern Minerals sold 136 tonnes of heavy rare earth carbonate in the first quarter of 2020, the company said in an update released on Thursday April 30.
