Chinese fluorspar exports fall in April as Covid-19 hits demand

China’s exports of fluorspar fell in April 2020 with reduced downstream buying from global buyers because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

China exported 13,380 tonnes of fluorspar (CaF≤97%) in April 2020, down year-on-year by 30.3% from 19,185 tonnes, due to slow buying activity among global outlets because of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to official customs data.
