Chinese exports of magnesia mostly fell year on year in May due to the reduced buying from traditional buyers due to global Covid-19 lockdowns, Fastmarkets understands.
China exported 28,097 tonnes of fused magnesia (FM) in May
2020, down by 7.1% from 30,257 tonnes in May 2019 and down by
25.2% from 37,551 tonnes in April 2020, official Chinese
customs data shows.
