Iluka reports buyers backing out of rutile contracts

Mineral sand miner Iluka has warned that it expects its 2020 rutile sales to be hit by purchaser defaults.

Iluka has contracted 175,000 tonnes of synthetic rutile sales in 2020 under take-or-pay agreements, with 78,000 tonnes delivered under these contracts so far.
