Chinese antimony trioxide price ticks up on rise in domestic demand

The price of antimony trioxide in China ticked up in the week ended Tuesday June 30 with domestic demand in the country showing clear signs of recovery but international demand remaining slack, market sources said.

China is a key producer and exporter of antimony derivatives.

Fastmarkets’ latest assessment of the price for antimony trioxide, 99.5% Sb2O3 min, fob China, was $4,600-4,750 per tonne on June 30, with the bottom end of the range rising by $50 per tonne over the past two weeks and sources...
