Chinese fluorspar exports, imports decline in May

China’s exports and imports of fluorspar fell in May 2020, with downstream demand remaining weak globally amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

China exported 8,028 tonnes of fluorspar (CaF≤97%) in May 2020, marking a drop of 43.3% from the 14,165 tonnes shipped in the same month a year earlier, according to official Chinese customs data.
