Stalled oilfield activity pressures frac sand price lower

Frac sand prices fell as the effects of low oil prices due to the Covid-19 epidemic slows the pace of sales to a crawl in the US.

Fastmarkets' monthly frac sand,northern white, 100 mesh, API, exw Wisconsin price fell to $24-29 per short ton on July 16, from $25-30 per short ton in June and compared with $27-32 at the start of the year.
