PRICING NOTICE: Discontinuation of rare earth pricing

Fastmarkets has today discontinued its rare earth price assessments.
Fastmarkets is discontinuing the following
assessments:
- Cerium
oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Dysprosium oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Europium oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Lanthanum oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Neodymium oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Praseodymium oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
-
Samarium oxide, min 99%, fob, China, $/kg, bulk
These prices were initially suspended in November 2017 after consultation
with the market. Fastmarkets has decided to discontinue
these prices from today, Friday July 31, due to insufficient
liquidity and transparency in these markets.
Discussions with the markets will continue
on the possibility of launching new rare prices in the
future.
