Ciner Resources soda ash volumes fall by one-third due to pandemic

Soda ash sales and production volumes at Ciner Resources fell by one-third in the April-June quarter of 2020, and the company warns of similar declines in the near and mid terms while it grapples with weaker demand due the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We experienced a decline of about 33% in production volumes and a 36% decline in sales volumes in the quarter ended March 31, 2020, when compared with our pre-Covid-19 production and sales levels," it said.
