WFA price falls on renewed pressure; bauxite, BFA stable on low demand

The price of white fused alumina (WFA) made a further downward move during the past fortnight despite participants’ expectations the market had bottomed out owing to changes in feedstock prices during previous weeks.
Bauxite markets stayed mostly flat amid tight supply and
soft demand. Meanwhile, the prices for brown fused alumina
(BFA) were stable with more kilns’ operations
halted in China due to weak demand
