China’s antimony trioxide export price rises further on bullish home market

The price of antimony trioxide in China, on an fob basis, has continued to edge upward over the past week, with sellers unwilling to reduce their offers because domestic demand was recovering while numbers of overseas inquiries have remained slack, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets’ assessment of the price for antimony trioxide, 99.5% Sb2O3 min, fob China, was $4,900-5,050 per tonne on Tuesday September 1, up by a further 2% week on week after increasing steadily over the past three weeks from $4,700-4,900 per tonne on August 11.
