China’s NEV output, sales grow in August

China’s output and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) continued to increase on an annual basis in August after posting its first year-on year growth in July.

China’s production of new energy vehicles (NEVs), including pure electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in hybrids, rose by 17.7% year on year in August to 106,000 units, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
