Chinese antimony trioxide exporters raise offers on stronger domestic demand

The price of antimony trioxide in China ticked upward on higher domestic demand and support from antimony metal in the week ended Tuesday September 22, while demand in Europe has started to show signs of recovery, market sources said.

Fastmarkets’ assessment of the price for antimony trioxide, 99.5% Sb2O3 min, fob China, was $5,000-5,200 per tonne on Tuesday, up by 2% from the range of $4,900-5,100 per tonne that had held steady over the preceding fortnight.
