Chinese prices for plus-mesh graphite flake steady despite market issues

Prices for plus-mesh graphite flake in China have remained firm over the past week despite supply issues and sluggish demand on the seaborne market, according to sources.

Fastmarkets’ latest price assessment for graphite flake 94% C, +80 mesh, fob China (+894), was $900 per tonne on Thursday September 24, unchanged so far this month but up by almost 10% from the beginning of the year.
