Monthly iodine prices unchanged again as spot prices slip

The monthly contract iodine price was unchanged in September, while the weekly spot price slipped on September 24, with the market remaining hesitant about taking on unnecessary volumes.

Fastmarkets’ price assessment for iodine, 99.5% min, contract, delivered US/Europe, cif Asia, was $34-37 per kg on Thursday September 24, stable for the fourth assessment in a row.
