Ciner Resources makes third consecutive quarterly production cut

US soda ash producer Ciner Resources has announced a third straight decline in output in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, although it noted the third quarter indicated a recovery in demand against the previous three-month period.

The company has reported three consecutive quarterly decreases on a year-on-year basis in production and sales due to adverse market conditions created by the coronavirus-related lockdowns

Yet the soda ash producer noted there were some bright spots in demand: "The third quarter marked an encouraging rebound for Ciner Resources....
