China's refractory materials output down 7% in Jan-Sep

China produced 17.45 million tonnes of refractory materials in China in the first nine months of 2020, down by 7.3% year on year, although performance improved in the third quarter compared with earlier in the year.
Data released by the China Association of Refractories
showed output over January-September 2020 fell from 18.83
million tonnes in the corresponding period a year ago.
Of the total, 9.79 million tonnes was density shaped
refractory products, down by 6.38%. Heat insulation refractory
