Stronger overseas buying boosts China’s magnesia exports in October

Exports of magnesia including dead burned magnesia, fused magnesia and caustic calcined magnesia increased in October year on year due to better buying activities from global customers compared with last year.

China exported 77,997 tonnes of dead burned magnesia in October, up by 23.63% from 63,090 tonnes in the same month of 2019, according to official customs data.

The total export value of dead burned magnesia was up by 3.7% to $15.4 million in October from $14.85 million...
