Syrah Resources raises $42mln to develop graphite anode project

Australian graphite company Syrah Resources has completed an institutional placement of 62.2 million new fully paid ordinary shares to raise approximately A$56 million ($42 million), the company said on Friday December 11.

On Thursday, Syrah announced a capital raising program for A$112 million, including a convertible note deed and a fully underwritten institutional placement.

The company is also undertaking a share purchase plan to raise up to A$12 million. The offer is scheduled to open to eligible shareholders on December 21....
