Browns Range reports rising heavy rare earth prices

Trade tensions and rising magnet demand have spurred a boom in heavy rare earth prices in 2020, mining junior Northern Minerals reported, while the disruption caused by Covid-19 could drive further demand.

Northern Minerals is conducting pilot production of heavy rare earth carbonate at its Browns Range project, which is located on the border of Australia’s Northern Territory and Western Australia.
