Sichuan Yahua signs lithium hydroxide supply agreement with Tesla

Chinese lithium producer Sichuan Yahua Lithium, a subsidiary of Sichuan Yahua Group, has signed a long-term supply agreement for battery-grade lithium hydroxide with United States-based electric vehicle (EV) maker Tesla on December 29, it said on Wednesday December 30.

Yahua Lithium will provide battery-grade lithium hydroxide to Tesla with a total order volume of $630-880 million from 2021-2025, it said.

The companies did not reveal any details on the exact supply volumes and prices, however, which will be carried out according to the agreed quantities and...
