Brighter market sentiment supports China's fused alumina shipments in November

China’s exports of brown (BFA) and white fused alumina (WFA) rose year on year in November on recovering demand from overseas buyers, while refractory grade bauxite exports dropped over the same period.

China exported 40,353 tonnes of BFA (HS Code: 28181010) in November, up by 21.8% from a year earlier at 33,130 tonnes, according to Chinese customs data.

The top five export destinations for Chinese BFA were the United States (8,470 tonnes), Japan (5,454 tonnes), India (4,044 tonnes), Thailand (2,587 tonnes)...
