IN FIGURES: China’s steel imports rise 64% in 2020

China’s steel imports increased sharply in 2020 but exports declined from 2019 levels, according to Chinese customs data released on Thursday January 14.

2020 imports: 20.23 million tonnes, up by 64.4% from 2019.
