China’s Zhenhua Chemical completes acquisition of fellow chromium salts producer

The key producer of chromium salts in China, Hubei Zhenhua Chemical, has completed its purchase of Chongqing Minfeng Chemical, it announced on Monday January 18.

The purchase followed Minfeng’s 100% equity transfer and related industrial and commercial registration on January 11. Chongqing Minfeng Chemical has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhenhua.

The acquisition was paid in the form of a share swap with Chongqing Chemical & Pharmaceutical, Minfeng’s former parent company.
