Volt Resources plans to buy controlling share of Ukraine's Zavalievsky Graphite

Graphite and gold explorer and developer Volt Resources is proposing to acquire 70% of Zavalievsky Graphite in the Ukraine, the company said on Friday February 5.

Volt, which is listed on the Australian stock exchange, wholly owns the Bunyu graphite project in Tanzania, which is at funding stage and has not yet gone into commercial production.

The purchase of Zavalievsky would give Volt access to a graphite mine that has been in operation for 87 years...
