Initial market feedback suggests that liquidity in the
titanium dioxide market in Europe and the United States is
mostly based on quarterly price adjustments by producers.
Therefore, a longer data collection period will enable
Fastmarkets to capture additional liquidity and the assessment
will be better aligned with the timings of the market.
The specifications for the titanium dioxide assessments are
as follows, with proposed amendments in italics:
MB-TI-0011 - Titanium dioxide pigment, chloride

No other changes are proposed to be made to the
specifications of the two price assessment or to
Fastmarkets’ other titanium dioxide price
assessments.
The price assessment for MB-TI-0009 - Titanium
dioxide pigment, sulfite grade, fob China, $ per
tonne, will remain on a weekly schedule.
The consultation for this proposed amendment will end one
month from the publication of this pricing notice, on Tuesday
March 9, while the amendment will be made, subject to market
feedback, on Thursday March 11.
