Westwater Resources plans battery-grade graphite production by 2023 to meet demand surge

United States-based minerals producer Westwater Resources expects to begin commercial production of battery-grade graphite in 2023 to meet anticipated demand for the product from the transportation sector, which the company estimates will grow by 23% annually over the next 10 years.
Westwater
sold its uranium business in January of this year, and will
use the $50 million in proceeds to support its shift to battery
materials.
