Iodine markets report first green shoots of recovery

The iodine market has reported its first signs of recovery, with some market sectors experiencing a return in demand, although this has not yet been reflected in prices while stocks remain high.

Fastmarkets’ price assessment for iodine, 99.5% min, contract, delivered US/Europe, cif Asia remained flat month on month at $34-37 per kg on February 25, unchanged since June 2020.
