China’s high acidspar prices restrain exports but import volumes climb

The spot market in China has seen increasing volumes of imported fluorspar acidspar at cheaper prices, while the country’s acidspar export business has remained moribund because prices were higher than those of other global sellers.

China’s fluorspar acidspar export market has remained quiet with thin levels of purchasing activity among overseas buyers. But, at the same time, increasing volumes of imports from other global sellers have rushed into China at cheaper prices, Fastmarkets heard on Tuesday March 16.
